This movie is jam packed with stoner humor with a massive amount of slackerness (yeah, I used it again. Hey, it’s not my fault that stoners make great slackers. Now I do realize there is a slight theme in most of the movies on this list. It might need to be higher on the list, but there is alot of non-slacker stuff to push it down to number 6. This high school comedy is an absolute classic. Nothing screams slacker like ordering a pizza to be delivered to your history class. Memorable quote “You shouldn’t take life to seriously. Van and his assistant start throwing parties for the less popular people and everything works out for Van, including a degree. After doing her research she finds that he isn’t as much of an idiot as she first thought. He becomes the interest of a reporter for the college paper. He is the party animal, and is one of the biggest slacker college has ever seen. Memorable quote “Have you ever sucked d*** for marijuana?”Ī college legend, Van Wilder is the man.
Now they have to worry about cops, rival drug dealers and of course not smoking it all themselves. You may be asking yourself “Me, how on earth would stoners make money to get a buddy out of jail?” First of all, you shouldn’t talk to yourself. Memorable quote “Did Doogie Houser just steal my f***ing car?”Ī stoner on a food run gets thrown in jail and his buddies go on a quest to get him out of jail. All in the name of getting some White Castle. What could go wrong? Well, many things including, police, Neal Patrick Harris stealing their car, and riding a cheetah. Memorable Quote “The thing is, Bob, it’s not that I’m lazy, it’s that I just don’t care.” Needless to say, his 9 to 5 job doesn’t like it. The main character is locked in a trance of not caring and relaxation. If you have ever worked in a cubical this movie is the greatest thing to happen since the swingline stapler.
